I had been wanting a second breast reduction (first one 16 years previous) for some time and decided to find a suitable surgeon in April of this year. After doing some research I narrowed my search down to 3 local specialist surgeons; then chose Ms Petrie from those 3. I first met Ms Petrie in April when I went for my initial consultation. I instantly warmed to her and within an hour I knew I wanted to go ahead with the procedure and I wanted Ms Petrie to perform it.. Ms Petrie is very personable, very professional and in my opinion an extremely competent surgeon. I had my surgery on June 7th and was home on June 8th. I couldn't be happier with the results. I explained to Ms Petrie (at point of consultation) that I love my sport and my breasts were preventing me from enjoying running anymore and therefore I wanted a reduction. Ms Petrie listened to what I wanted and the reasons why and understood my desire to get back to running. My frame is not large (circa 9 stone and 5ft 5) so I wanted to go from a 32FF to a 32C, that is exactly what I got. I can't recommend Ms Petrie enough, you will be in completely safe, competent & caring hands.

I’ve had the most excellent treatment & care from Nicola Petrie whereby 3 angiolipomas were removed from my arms at The Manor, Oxford. To discover follow-up could be at my local Chipping Norton Health Centre was just perfect! Thank you so much.

After thinking about having breast implants for some time, I made an appointment with Ms Petrie. From my first Consultation I felt at ease, Ms Petrie was Professional but very approachable, and explained everything to me about the procedure I wanted. After an initial examination, Ms Petrie could see that I needed a Mastopexy (breast lift) augmentation. We discussed the options fully, and I tried some different sized and shaped implants on and decided on some thinking time to digest everything we had discussed. Ms Petrie was available via phone or e-mail pre and post op for any concerns or questions that I had. Here I need to thank Molly ( Ms Petrie's PA ) Always at the end of an email or phone call to help, again very Professional and approachable. Decision made, Operation date was set at The Manor Hospital, Oxford. Pre-op appointment easy to make at my convienence, which was great to fit into my work schedule.Very pleased and impressed with my stay at The Manor. My room was pleasant and clean and all nursing staff pre, on the day and post op were very friendly and informative. I saw Ms Petrie soon after my arrival, I was gowned and marked up for my operation. I was not nervous at all, I knew I was in safe hands. Then I met Vivien my Anaesthetist, again Professional, friendly and informative. Operation went very well, before I knew it I was back in my room, being well looked after. I must also thank the Kitchen staff now for the best cheese and ham omelette ever! Which I must say, came very well presented. I had an overnight stay and the nurses were very attentive whenever I needed them. I was discharged with ease the following morning after Ms Petrie called in to see me. I'am now seven weeks post op and overwhelmed with my result! My scars are neat and tidy and are starting to fade well. I would definitely recommend Ms Petrie and all of her team, you will be well looked after.

Having had thought about a breast reduction for many years but always feeling quite nervous, I’d never had an operation or even spent time in hospital so the thought was very daunting. I finally plucked up the courage to have my consultation after researching the right hospital and surgeon for me. As soon as I met my surgeon, Nicola, I was completely put at ease. She is friendly and professional and answers any questions you may have. She went through absolutely everything with me throughout the consultation and afterwards I was confident I wanted to go ahead with the surgery. On the day of my op I felt prepared having spoke to Nicola beforehand. As soon as I woke up from my surgery, I felt immediately happy with the result. I was already put in my post op bra but could tell I was happy with the outcome. The first night after my surgery was uncomfortable due to having to sleep upright however not painful. My recovery was a lot better than expected with no where near as much pain as I had originally anticipated. I have seen Nicola twice since my operation, one at 2 weeks post op to have my dressing checked (only surgical tape which was great as could see the results the following morning after the op) and one at 6 weeks. It’s only been 6 weeks since my surgery and my scars are already fading. I definitely thought my scarring would be much worse so I’m over the moon with my results. My breasts look very natural and are now practically symmetric. Nicola has done exactly what I wanted and I couldn’t be happier or more grateful. It’s made such a difference to my confidence!

Following a breast cancer diagnosis in 2010 I had bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction with tissue expanding silicone implants.Unfortunately after 8 years they were in need of replacement.Miss Nicola Petrie was recommended to me.At my initial consultation Miss Petrie explained clearly all of my options for replacement of my implants. She has a very pleasant manner, and is very professional.I had great confidence in her as a surgeon. My operation was a great success .My new implants look great. They are a better size and shape than my previous implants and have a more natural feel to them .(More like natural breast tissue than my previous implants). My scars are very neat and discreet and they healed quickly and uneventfully .I was in very little discomfort following my operation and made a quick recovery.I felt very well and very happy following my new reconstruction.Miss Petrie arranged a follow up consultation so that she could check that my wounds were all healing well.I would not hesitate to recommend Miss Petrie .You will be very well looked after.
